He is Board Chair for Interfaith Works, an organization that helps people in the community experiencing homelessness or living in poverty. He also does pro bono work for religious groups. Mr. Shah is very politically active to help bring about changes to immigration laws. He has been in and continues to serve in many political leadership roles. These roles include being elected as the first Indian American and Second Asian American office of the Maryland Democratic Party currently serving as Deputy Treasurer. He also serves as an Executive Member of the Maryland Democratic Party, the Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party AAPI Leadership Council, the Co-Chair to Congressman David Trone AAPI Council, and the Co-Chair to Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich Advisory Group, to name a few.

Mr. Shah received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan, his Juris Doctorate from The American University and a Master of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School.
